After successful introduction of water polo as a demonstrative sport at the 2016 European Universities Games, we are happy to announce the EUSA European Universities Water Polo Cup, which will be held in the coastal city of Koper, Slovenia in the period July 10-16, 2017.

The EUSA Water Polo Cup will be organised by the University Sports Association of Primorska (USZP), supported by the Slovenian University Sports Association (SUSA), the University of Primorska (UP), the Municipality of Koper and the Student Organization of University of Primorska (SOUP).



Teams will be accommodated in twin rooms in Student hostel (full board), having its matches in outdoor Olympic swimming pool Zusterna, where national and international water polo matches are played regularly. Transportation from / to airport of Trieste (Italy) and all local transportation will be provided within the participation fee.



The EUSA Water Polo Cup is organized for eight (8) men's teams (each team will have five matches), with program, as follows:
•    July 10: arrivals, general technical meeting, opening ceremony, welcome party
•    July 11, 12, 13: group stage, round robin system, sigh
•    July 14: knock-out stage, semi-finals, sightseeing’s, parties
•    July 15: knock-out stage - finals, awards & closing ceremony, closing party
•    July 16: departures



Teams can participate with min. of ten (10) and max. of thirteen (13) players and min. one (1) and max. five (5) officials. Registration is open until March 15, 2017.
