International university sports community is invited to participate in the 1st Pan-American Congress of University Sports FISU America 2017, event to be held in the city of Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, from April 24 to 29, 2017.

The event will be focused on American university sport, which has an important development in the countries that make up FISU America - Pan-American University Sport Organization. For the first time in the history of the organization, sports directors, coaches, student athletes, representatives of governmental organizations and personalities linked to university sports can exchange their experiences and expand their knowledge about the different aspects of the sports environment in which they work. This event will generate a manifesto that will be the basis for the development of the University Sport of the American Continent during the next seven years.



The main objective of the FISU America's Forum about the University Sport is to share ideas and knowledge on key issues related to the development of sports in the continent, building the foundation for a new structure and a new model of university sports, empowering with the mission and priorities of FISU America as well as to exchange with university sports federations and act as a platform for communication and learning in its full context.

The organisers are accepting online registration of papers from January 5 to February 5, and the registration for participants will be open between February 15 and March 24, 2017.
