Invitation: EUSA Awards Ceremony

Invitation: EUSA Awards Ceremony

The European University Sports Association has great pleasure in inviting our members, partners, stakeholders and all interested individuals to attend our virtual EUSA Awards Ceremony, taking place next month, where the efforts of individuals, universities, federations and associations will be recognised.

Due to the current global pandemic, the annual EUSA Gala was unfortunately not able to take place together with the EUSA General Assembly in Yerevan, Armenia. However, the achievements of all the deserving award winners who have made an immense contribution to EUSA and the European University Sports movement will still be recognised, albeit at an online awards ceremony taking place on Thursday, February 11 at 17h00 CET.

The virtual event, which will last up to 60 minutes, will celebrate the best in university sport and the wider sporting community, acknowledging the success and appreciating the contributions of various individuals and associations and their impact on university sport over the past 18 months.

Five annual awards will be presented based on the results and performances of universities, associations and individuals during the 15th season of the European Universities Championships in 2019. The awards include the Most Active National University Sports Association (NUSA), the Most Successful NUSA, the Best University, the Most Active University as well as the Enno Harms Fair Play Award.

Four Special Awards, as well as an Order of Merit, will also be awarded.

The Ceremony will also allow attendees to re-live the action of both the European Universities Championships and the FISU World University Games, while also being given a sneak preview of what’s in store at this Summer’s fifth edition of the European Universities Games in Belgrade, Serbia, taking place from July 14-27, 2021.

To join the virtual ceremony, please register at https://www.eusa.eu/registration-form.

We look forward to your presence at the EUSA Awards Ceremony!
