On behalf of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), the Portuguese Academic Federation of University Sport (FADU) and the Organising Committee, we have the pleasure of inviting university teams of your country to participate in the 2nd European Universities Taekwondo Championship, which will be organised in Braga, Portugal between December 13 and 15, 2011.

The deadline for applications has been determined as November 1, 2011.

Braga is the oldest Portuguese city and one of the oldest Christian cities in the World. With an urban population of 175,063, Braga is the largest city in Portugal after Lisbon and Oporto. Braga is also the center of the Greater Metropolitan Area of Minho and one of the fastest growing urban areas in the European Union. The region of Braga has been inhabited since pre-historic times, and had a rich history until the present day.The city is the headquarters and main campus for the University of Minho, a public university founded in 1973. Braga also appreciates sports, and has hosted already the 1st Taekwondo EUC in 2009.
