Invitation EUC Rowing 2011

On behalf of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), the Russian Students Sports Union (RSSU) and the Organising Committee, we have the pleasure of inviting university teams of your country to participate in the 7th European Universities Rowing Championship, which will be organised in Moscow, Russia between August 30 and September 2, 2011.

 

The deadline for registration has been determined as May 30, 2011.

All relevant information is published on EUSA website www.eusa.eu and on the official website of the event www.rusrowing.com.

City info

Moscow is the capital, the largest city and federal subject of Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural, scientific, financial, educational, and transportation centre of Russia and the world. With over 10,5 million inhabitants, Moscow is the most populous city in Europe and the seventh largest city proper in the world. Moscow possesses a large number of various sport facilities and over 500 Olympic champions have lived in the city. Moscow is home to sixty-three stadiums of which Luzhniki Stadium is the largest and the 4th biggest in Europe. There are 222 institutions offering higher education in Moscow, including 60 state universities. The oldest one was founded in 1755.
