On behalf of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), the Cyprus University Sports Federation (CUSF) and the Organising Committee we have the pleasure of inviting university teams of your country to participate in 5th European Universities Handball Championship (men and women) which will be organised in Nicosia, Cyprus between June 13 and 20, 2010.

 

The deadline for applications has been determined as March 13, 2010.

City info
Nicosia, locally known as Lefkosia, is the capital and largest city of Cyprus. Located almost in the centre of the island, it is the seat of government as well as the main business centre. One of the world's oldest cities, Nicosia was the center of an independent kingdom as early as the 7th century BC. The history of events lead to the conflict, resulting Nicosia being a divided capital of Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities. Apart from the unique places of interest left from the ancient times with memories of many generations, the present Nicosia is a dynamic metropolitan city where the University of Cyprus and four other universities reside.
