On behalf of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), the Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF) and the Organising Committee, we have the pleasure of inviting university teams of yourcountry to participate in the 12th European Universities Basketball Championship which will be organised in Split, Croatia between July 21 and 28, 2013.

The deadline for applications has been determined as February 1, 2013.

City info
Split is a Mediterranean city on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea, centred around the ancient Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian and its bay and port.  With a city population of less than 200.000 citizens, and a metropolitan area twice the size, it is the largest Dalmatian city and the second-largest city of Croatia. The University of Split was founded in 1974 and has grown substantially in the last few years, having over 26.000 students and 12 faculties. Sportspeople are highly regarded here, and the city is famous for producing many champions. There are several prominent sports and sports clubs in Split, so it in no wonder that its residents often call their city as "The sportiest city in the world."
