On behalf of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), the University Sports Association of Poland (AZS) and the Organising Committee, we have the pleasure of inviting university teams of your country to participate in the 10th European Universities Basketball Championship, which will be organised in Poznan, Poland between July 18 and 25, 2010.

The deadline for applications has been determined as April 18, 2010.

Poznań is a colourful, modern and rapidly developing city, located in the western Poland and is one of the largest cities in Poland. In Poznań the history interlaces with modernity. Walking around the city you can see beautiful monuments, such as Ostrów Tumski, Stary Rynek - the central spot of the city with the town hall designed by Joannes Baptista Quadro, the tenement houses surrounding the square in a style which draws on the baroque and Renaissance architecture, as well as emperor’s castle. Poznań owes its great energy also to students – 130 thousand study at 26 colleges and universities. There is an undeniable significance of sport in Poznań, which will also be one of the hosts of the European Football Championships in 2012.
