The University of Geneva welcomed for 3 days the EUSA Table Tennis Technical Delegate Mr Andrzej Hrehorowicz for the traditional inspection visit, organised between January 29 and 31. Mr Hrehorowicz stayed at the 4 star hotel Ramada Encore where all delegations will be hosted. He was able to check the rooms and the breakfast buffet. Also the meeting rooms for the accreditations and technical meetings plus draws were inspected.

On Friday a tour of the University of Geneva and the restaurant where athletes will have lunch and diner was organised, followed by a meeting with the sports authorities of the city of Geneva and the local table tennis association. Mr Jean Pascal Stancu, the President of the Swiss Table Tennis Federation, assuring his support to our event.



The centre sportif des vernets stadium was the next stop and afterwards the progress report was checked in more details, discussing all the topics relevant to the success of the event this summer.

Mr Hrehorowicz is confident about the outcome of the event and we are looking forward to the European Universities Table Tennis Championship this June. The organisers are working hard to make it a great success, as were the previous EUSA sports events hosted there - Basketball in 2007 and Badminton in 2009.
