Zonguldak, Turkey will host the 6th European Universities Table Tennis Championship in mid June. As a part of preparations EUSA Technical Delegate for Table Tennis Mr Andrzej Hrehorowicz visited Zonguldak for the final inspection visit before the event.

 

Mr Hrehorowicz met the President of the Organising Committe dr. Mustafa Gamus and his team, encompassing all key people responsible for the tournament.


 

 

During the inspection visit the housing, dining and sports facilities were checked, as well as the plans for transport, medical and security services and other aspects of organisation. All facilities are conveniently located within the campus, and will offer nice conditions for the participants. Also the location of the city at the Black Sea will offer participants a unique experience to enjoy themselves also outside the competitions.


 

Also the Rector of the Bulent Ecevit University prof. dr. Mahmut Ozer met with Mr Hrehorowicz, expressing his happiness to be involved in the organisation of the event and assured full support of the University.

 

The participants of the European Universities Table Tennis Championship will arrive to Istanbul on June 17 and will have the privilege of staying one night in this historic city, and will be then transferred the following day to Zonguldak - service provided by the Organising Committee.
