The organisers of the 1st European Universities Chess Championship hosted EUSA Technical Delegate for Chess Mr Oleksandr Sulypa in Yerevan on April 24, 2015.

A high degree of readiness of the organization to conduct the championship was shown by the hosts, which will in cooperation with the European University Sports Association (EUSA), European Chess Union (ECU) and local partners organise the event in the Armenian capital between October 6 and 11, 2015.



Participants will be accommodated in hotels situated in the heart of Yerevan. The playing area consists of spacious conference halls, offering cutting edge audio and video support.

EUSA Technical delegate Mr Sulypa thanked the Chairman of the organizing Committee Mr Hovhannes Gabrielyan and expressed his confidence that participants will be able to enjoy the event and the Armenian hospitality in October.
