International University Sports Federation (FISU), University of Taipei and the local organisers of the 2017 FISU World Conference on Development through Sport are excited to invite you to a Global Sports Innovation (SPIN) Finals Competition by HYPE Foundation, a global platform for innovation in sports, taking place on 27 August, 2017, during Taipei 2017 Summer Universiade.

The competition will showcase the innovations that will shape the world of sports, starting with an Expo of innovative sports startups, in which 10 of them will compete on the title of the ‘Most Innovative Startup in the World of Sports’. The event will take place on 27 August, during the FISU World Conference on Development though Sport in Chinese Taipei.



Startups involved in the following sports sectors are welcome to register: Performance & Analytics; Wearables & Sensors; Retail & Ticketing; Footwear Innovation; Coaching & Training; Smart Stadium; Fan Engagement; Broadcasting & Media; Visual & Augmented Reality; E-Sports & Fantasy Sports; Health & BioInformatics.

The winning startup will be chosen by leading jury of Olympic athletes and experts, FISU representatives, Amazon, Microsoft, Chinese Taipei Government officials and University of Taipei representatives.
