Initial EUG2022 SVC online meeting
The preparations for the European Universities Games Lodz 2022 are ongoing, and earlier today an online meeting with the representatives of the local hosts and the EUSA team was held.
All key host city partners were represented at the meeting; Mr Krzysztof Jozwik, Rector of the Lodz University of Technology; Ms Ewa Brochocka, Vice-President of AZS Lodz; Mr Maciej Adamczyk from the City of Lodz and Ms Tatsiana Andrushka as the project coordinator. European University Sports Association (EUSA) was represented by its President Mr Adam Roczek, Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Executive Committee Members Mr Bruno Barracosa and Dmitriy Kiselev, and Sports Manager Mr Besim Aliti.
The virtual Supervision Commission meeting focused on the general overview of the project planning and preparations, as well as the necessary adaptations due to the current situation. EUSA and the organisers will also closely work with the organisers of the upcoming European Universities Games Belgrade 2021.
The 6th edition of the European Universities Games is scheduled to be held in July 2022 in the Polish City of Lodz. Further details will be communicated shortly, and in the meantime, we invite you to start following @eug2022 on social media channels.
