IDO-EUSA European Universities Hip Hop Championship 2017

The International Dance Organisation (IDO) organised the Street Dance Championships in Hip Hop, Electric Boogie and Break Dance between June 14 and 18 in the Polish city of Walbrzych. The event also included the IDO-EUSA European Universities Hip Hop Championship.

More than 2.800 dancers from 18 countries have competed over the period of 5 days for the title of an IDO European Champion. Apart from the audience and spectators in Walbrzych, the event also had TV coverage and live streaming.

During the event, the EUSA-IDO European Universities Hip Hop Championship was held for the third time. Student dancers represented 10 universities from 6 countries in male and female categories, with 2 rounds.

The winners of the IDO-EUSA Hip Hop Championship were Vasiliy Neskubin from the Southern Federal University in Adult Solo male and Alina Karseva from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy in the Adult Solo female category.

The next IDO-EUSA event this year will be the IDO-EUSA European Universities Jazz and Modern Dance Championship December 3-9 in Warsaw, Poland. Registration deadline is November 27, 2017.
