GSHE publishes the European Green Sports Charter
The Green Sport Hub Europe (GSHE) had the main aim to create an EU-level hub –as a seed for a future Alliance- on sports and environment, in order to identify the needs of the sport sector and to identify the potential actions for a greener and more sustainable future.
Among the reached goals in these project, we are proud to offer a few important resources as outcomes: the Survey Report, the Self assessment tool, the Recommendations for policy makers and last but not least the European Green Sports Charter.
We hope that in bringing the sports community together we can move from a project to a fully-fledged hub.
Green Sports Hub Europe is inviting both individuals and sport organizations to take a voluntary pledge to support the Green Sports Hub Charter. This Charter is meant to help you showcase your commitment towards a greener future. By taking the pledge, you are expressing your interest to work together and your support for the principles set out in the Charter.
You can do it as an individual involved in sports or as a commitment on behalf of your organization.
The benefits of taking the pledge are that you will be part of a growing movement of people and organizations committed to sustainability in sport, gain access to resources and support to help you implement sustainable practices in your organisation and be able to showcase your commitment to sustainability to your stakeholders.
The culmination of years of research on how to support the sports sector. Support the European Green Sports Charter and help us create a greener future for sport! Take the pledge today and join us in making a positive impact.
If you want to sign the pledge, you can do it here.
