GSHE partners meet in London
Partners of the Erasmus+ project Green Sports Hub Europe (GSHE) met in London on November 7 and 8, reviewing the project progress, and planning the next steps. While most of partners attended the meeting in-person, some of the participants joined also only online.
The project looks into ways in which the sports sector can become more environmentally sustainable, and has been joined by associate project partners in this effort.
The 2-day meeting in London was hosted by UK Active, focusing on dissemination of the evaluation tool and to plan a series of test events for 2023, where the theory will be put into practice. EUSA Institute was represented at the meeting by its Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl.
The three-year project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is coordinated by Surfrider Foundation Europe (FRA), with project partners including Association of Cities and Regions for the Sustainable Management of Resources (BEL), Sports Confederation of Portugal (POR), UKActive (GBR), Green Cycling Norway (NOR), Olympic Committee of Slovenia (SLO), European Volleyball Confederation (LUX), Rugby Europe (FRA), European Athletics Association (SUI) and the EUSA Institute (SLO).
