Golf has been a part of the sports programme in European University Sports Association (EUSA) since 2009, when the first edition was organised in Algarve, Portugal. The second edition was held in Otocec, Slovenia in 2011 and the third one in Saint-Saens, France in 2013.

European Universities Golf Championships attract over 100 participants at each edition, with top university student golfers around Europe.



This year, the European Universities Golf Championship will be organised in St. Gallen, Switzerland between September 15 and 19, 2015. There are still places available for registration; first general entry deadline is April 15. Be sure not to miss this event at the spectacular golf courses of Golfpark Waldkirch.



In 2016, Golf will be one of the sports at the 3rd European Universities Games Zagreb-Rijeka. During the recent EUSA Convention, which was held in the Croatian capital between March 26-29, 2015, EUSA Technical Delegate Mr Rob Macpherson inspected the golf courses in Zagreb, confirming the conditions for the event.



EUSA Executive Committee attributed the European Universities Championships for 2017, including Golf. The event will be held in Liberec (CZE) in September 2017. The organizers had already successfully organized Golf competition for students, including the 14th World University Golf Championship in 2012.
