General Assembly of the Swiss University Sports Federation
The House of Sports of the Swiss Olympic Association in Ittigen hosted the annual General Assembly of the Swiss University Sports Federation (SUSF). SUSF President Mr Andreas Csonka presented the highlights of his annual reports to the delegates of the Swiss University Sports Organisations, namely the results of the Swiss teams at the European Universities Championships 2013 and the Summer and Winter Universiades 2013, the financial challenges of the federation in a difficult economical environment and the social responsibilities which the SUSF tries to fulfil in the daily activities.

Mr Csonka stressed the fact that the sports calendar both from FISU and EUSA consists of a growing number of competitions almost every year which offers new possibilities to the students to compete. Mr Daniel Studer, EUSA Technical Delegate for Tennis and SUSF responsible for the European Universities Championships and Games, presented the statistics about the participation of Swiss teams at the events of the European University Sports Association (EUSA). He reported about the European Universities Table Tennis Championship 2015, to be organised in Geneva and the European Universities Golf Championship, to be organised in St. Gallen in 205. Mr Studer also underlined the importance of the European Universities Games 2014 in Rotterdam and Swiss plans about the participation there.
