Game, set and match at EUC Tennis 2019
The European Universities Championship in Tennis finally concluded on July 27 with an exciting Closing Ceremony at the square of the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Over 130 participants representing 27 Universities from 18 countries took part in this year’s edition of the event.
Mr Ivan Jovetić, member of the Organising Committee and Mr Kemal Tamer, representative of EUSA, thanked the hosts, all participants, staff and volunteers for their help during the Championship, before Mr Tamer invited all participants to next year’s edition of the European Universities Games in Belgrade, Serbia.
In men’s finals, the title of champions went to Komzminski University from Poland who won a thrilling final match against University of Lille of France.
In women’s finals, Istanbul Aydin University of Turkey won the gold medal after defeating French counterparts University of Bordeaux.

The next EUSA tennis event will take place in Serbia, Belgrade where all teams are warmly welcome to join the next European Universities Games in Belgrade 2020.
