New season of World University Championships (WUC) started today in Tartu, Estonia where the FISU World University Ski Orienteering Championship was officially opened. From February till December students all around the world will have the opportunity to compete in 34 different sports, out of which 19 will be organized in Europe, organized by national university sports bodies - also EUSA members.

Europe will also have the privilege to both open and close the 2018 WUC season. The first event - Ski Orienteering is being held in Tartu, Estonia, and the last event of the year will be WUC Sambo, to take place in Novi Sad, Serbia.



European university teams will also have a chance to take part in the European Universities Games Coimbra 2018 where they will be able to compete in Badminton, Basketball, 3x3 Basketball, Football, Futsal, Handball, Judo, Rowing, Rugby 7s, Table Tennis & Para Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball and Canoe Sprint as a demonstrative sport.
