Are you a top university student and could use a scholarship? FISU, the International University Sports Federation has announced a scholarship programme for the academic year 2012-2013.

The programme is a legacy of 2003 Daegu Summer Universiade and Daegu Metropolitan City, and offers three students of higher education aged between 17 and 28 years studying for a qualification such as undergraduate or postgraduate degree, a chance to obtain a scholarship in the amount of approximately 3.000 EUR for the current academic year.

Only athletes that took part in the Winter or Summer Universiade or World University Championships, can be nominated. The nominations need to be gathered by the national university sports federations (which also have the complete calls and application forms) and submitted to the continental university sport association (in Europe this is the European University Sports Association - EUSA) until midday (noon) on October 31, 2012.
