The new President of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) Mr Claude-Louis Gallien met with the delegates of the Continental Associations, associated members of FISU on Tuesday, August 16 during the 26th Summer Universiade held in Shenzhen, China.



After the meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee a day prior, the FISU President also met the representatives of the Continental federations who are also FISU members. At the meeting, Mr Alberto Gualtieri, President of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) was also present.



Mr Gallien presented the current activity plan and schedule of FISU for the next months, focusing on the attribution of the 2017 Universiades in November and the Executive Committee which is to be held prior to that.
