International University Sports Federation (FISU) held its Extraordinary General Assembly on March 15 in a virtual form.

The main point on the agenda was extension of the mandate of the current Executive Committee until 2025. The proposal did not reach two-thirds majority, so the term of the Executive Committee will end this year.

FISU electoral General Assembly will therefore be held this year; foreseen in November, a few months after the conclusion of the FISU Summer World University Games, scheduled to take place in Chengdu between July 28 and August 8.
