FISU General Assembly in Bangkok
Just prior to the start of the 24th Summer Universiade, the General Assembly of FISU took place from August 5 to 6 in Bangkok, Thailand. At the 30th General Assembly, new Executive Committee for the period 2007-2011 was elected, and three new member associations were accepted; among them also the new EUSA member from Montenegro. The Assembly also heard status reports of the upcoming Summer Universiades (Belgrade 2009 and Shenzhen 2011), as well as the future Winter Universiades (Harbin 2009 and Erzurum 2011).
