The 3rd FISU Gender Equality Sport Award has been launched, to be awarded during the FISU General Assembly at the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, Russian Federation.

The vision of the Gender Equality Committee of the International University Sports Federation is to promote and encourage the higher integration of women in sport at all levels. The FISU Gender Equality Sport Award will be awarded to an existing project developed by a Federation, Organisation, Institution or an Individual. Special attention will be given to projects that could act as models for other countries, regions and/or continents.

The deadline to submit proposals is March 31, 2013. Only submissions from FISU Member Federations will be accepted; please see www.fisu.net for details.
