FISU Forum
FISU held the 7th FISU FORUM in the period July 21st - 27th, 2004 in
Lisbon/POR. The 145 students and officials from 44 countries underlined
the unique importance and special opportunities which university sport
in the widest terms can contribute to the educational process within
higher education.
The main theme of "Education through University Sport" in the context of a new knowledge society was chosen for this multi-national forum, in order to elaborate on the undoubted value of participation in Sport as part of a life long learning process. EUSA was also invited to take part at the FISU FORUM. Mr. Enno Harms, EUSA President, presented the participants the structure and activities of EUSA. At this occasion he also met with FISU President, Mr. George Killian and Mr. Carlos Santos, President of the FADU.
