First EUC Orienteering concludes in Olomouc
The very first European Universtities Orienteering Championship concluded on July 27 at Kamenná Pevnůstka in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Over 140 participants representing 50 Universities from 19 countries took part in this year’s maiden edition of the event.
After three competitions, the Cup for the Best University was won by Switzerland’s Zurich University of Applied Sciences ahead of the second-placed local team from Palacký University Olomouc.
The awards were presented by Mr Piotr Marszal, EUSA Control Commission Chair); Mr Dusan Vystavel, EUSA Orienteering Technical Delegate and Mr Jiří Zemánek, Deputy President of the Region Olomouc.

The next European Universities Orienteering Championships will take place in St Gallen, Switzerland in 2021, and all teams are warmly welcomed to join.
