The Executive Committee meeting of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) is taking place in Belgrade on November 11 and 12, and it is drawing attention and interest from the local and national organisations and institutions, as well as media.

EUSA Executive Committee members, staff and guests are hosted in Belgrade by the national university sports body - University Sport Federation of Serbia (USSS).



Prior to the meeting, on November 10, the Rector of the University of Belgrade Mr Vladimir Bumbasirevic and his team received EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek and Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, together with the President of University Sport Federation of Serbia Mr Sinisa Jasnic. University of Belgrade expressed their commitment and support to the European Universities Games in 2020, and presentation of activities of both organisations followed.



On November 11, a special Press Conference was held, attended also by Minister of Youth and Sport Mr Vanja Udovicic, President of Sports Association of Serbia Mr Aleksandar Sostar, City of Belgrade Sports’ Secretary Mr Slavko Gak, President of University Sport Federation of Serbia Mr Sinisa Jasnic. Present was also Vice-President of the European Fair Play Movement and Olympic champion Mr Miroslav Cerar. The Conference focused on the European Universities Games 2020, which will be hosted in Belgrade in 4 years.
