EUSA visits Camerino in preparation for EUC Volleyball 2015

Sports Manager of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) Mr Patrik Perosa visited the Italian city Camerino between October 22 and 24, helping the Organisers to prepare and promote the next year’s European Universities Volleyball Championship.

Together with the local Organising Committee, they visited the Accommodation, Catering and Sports facilities which will be used during the event in 2015.

During his visit, Mr Perosa was welcomed at the University of Camerino by its Rector Mr Flavio Corradini, who ensured the support and cooperation of the University to this event. Mr Corradini was proud to mention that the University is one of the oldest ones in Europe and that it supports a wide range of sports, including Volleyball, also through the sports facilities.

The delegation also visited the Mayor of Camerino Mr Gianluca Pasqui and the Mayor of the nearby city of Castelraimondo Mr Renzo Marinelli. Also the highest representatives of local government ensured maximum support of the championship and supporting activities.

Camerino

At the meeting of the Rotary Club Camerino, the European Universities Volleyball Championship 2015 was presented to the members and other supporters of the event by Mr Stefano Belardinelli, President of CUS Camerino. The audience included representatives of the local regional branch of the Olympic Committee, Volleyball federation, city officials, university, local business and others.

The upcoming European Universities Volleyball Championship will be held in Camerino between July 19 and 26, 2015; more information will be available soon.
