EUSA Treasurer Francis Cirianni awarded by Italian National Olympic Committee

On February 12, 2025, EUSA Treasured Francis Cirianni was awarded by Giovanni Malagò, President of the Italian National Olympic Committee, the CONI Silver Star of Merit, a sports honour which can be awarded to reward athletes, clubs, managers, and sports personalities, who, for the activity carried out, have given prestige to Italian Sport.
Last week on Wednesday, in the "A. Quistelli" Aula Magna of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria, the CONI Calabria Awards Ceremony took place.
The highest local civil, military, and sports authorities, including Calabria Region President Roberto Occhiuto, attended the awarding of the Stars for Sports Merit, the Palms for Technical Merit, and the Medals for Athletic Valor to athletes, managers, coaches, and sports clubs from Calabria Region, who distinguished themselves in recent years.
The Sports Honor "Stella d'Argento al Merito Sportivo" to Mr Cirianni was presented by CONI President Malagò, as recognition of over 30 years of leading service in sport, with commitment and positive results.
Francis Marco Maria Cirianni has been an EUSA Executive Committee Member since 2016, and EUSA Treasurer since 2021. Is a Board Member of the Italian University Sport Federation since 2011 and a Professor at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.
