EUSA to implement new visual identity

European University Sports Association (EUSA) will shortly officially unveil and implement its new visual identity. Established in 1999, the organisation adopted its visual identity and logo in 2000 – blue letter “U”, with yellow stars surrounding it, and its abbreviation “EUSA” beneath it. Since then, the logo received only a slight modification, and has proudly represented the symbol of EUSA and European university sport.

Starting with 25 member associations, the European University Sports Association grew substantially from its foundation 14 years ago and first organised championships in two sports. EUSA has been recognised as the continental university sports entity for Europe by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and now unites 45 national university sports associations, offers competitions in 17 sports in forms of European Universities Championships and Games, carries out educational events, projects of social responsibility and cooperates with other organisations and institutions. Keeping up-to-date and to strengthen the visibility and trademark of the organisation, EUSA Executive Committee members in October 2013 confirmed the adoption of a new visual identity. Although the official launch will be in the beginning of 2014, some implementations will be done gradually.

All newly produced materials will be using the new logo, keeping the blue “U” and the yellow star symbol within the logo. We invite you to keep an eye on EUSA website, social networks, our publications and other promotional material and celebrate the new visual identity with us.
