EUSA Technical Commission meets in Prague

EUSA Technical Commission met in Prague (CZE) on October 20-21 the to discuss the reports from the European Universities Games in Rotterdam and to prepare the activity plan for the future events. Mrs Ivana Ertlova, EUSA  Executive Committee Member and Technical Commission Chair, Mr Marko Zunic, TC Vice President, Mr Patrik Perosa, EUSA Sports Manager and Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Secretary General participated took part in the meeting.

In the beginning, the results and statistics from the European Universities Games in Rotterdam together with the final reports of EUSA Technical Delegates and SCAC Chairs were presented. After the evaluation and discussion on some proposed modifications of EUSA Rules and Regulations, several proposals were prepared for the next Executive Committee Meeting.

In regards to the Games in Rotterdam, the statistics for the annual EUSA rankings and the awards (Best University, Most Successful NUSA, Most Active NUSA) were presented, together with the proposals for the Enno Harms’ Fair Play Award 2014.

As from November 13-16, 2014, the annual EUSA Convention will be organised in Ljubljana, the Technical Committee Members discussed also the program and agenda of the event, which will attract around 60 participants (organisers of European Universities Championships 2015 and EUSA Technical Delegates).

At the end of the meeting, the members discussed the bidding procedure for European Universities Championships and results of the EUSA survey. The outcome of the meeting will be presented to the EUSA Executive Committee on its next meeting to be organised on November 28-29, 2014 in Coimbra (POR).
