EUSA team building activities in preparation for 2017 season

The staff of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) attended team building activities in Slovenia on December 12 and 13, 2016, in preparation for the new season and reflecting some organizational changes within the EUSA Office.

EUSA welcomed Mr Besim Aliti as the new Sports Manager and Mr Davor Travnikar as assistant, who are joining the EUSA Office staff in Ljubljana, composed by Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl, Office Manager Ms Sara Rozman, assistant Ms Danijela Smeh and Mr Liam Smith as an intern in the current academic year. In 2017, we expect to host two new volunteers/intern students. With the substantial growth of EUSA activities in the past years, we expect that with the changes in the office and more staff, we will be able to serve our members and partners even better.

Hiking on Rogla

The primary aim of the two-day training was to get to know each other better, enhance social relations and strengthen the cooperation within the organisation. The teambuilding also emphasised the importance of physical activity, enjoying and preserving nature, reinforcing also #beactive campaign and commitment to sport and recreation.

Sledding

The activities on the first day included sightseeing and visiting Trebnik Mansion in Slovenske Konjice, exploring the uses of natural herbs. When arriving to Rogla, participants attended a hike, followed by adrenaline roller-coaster/sledding ride and social activities in the evening.

Skiing activities

The intensive EUSA team-building programme concluded on Rogla also on the second day, which was dedicated to snow activities and skiing.
