EUSA Student Commission meets before the holidays

Members of the Student Commission of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) met online on December 13, before the holiday season.

Flobena Nikolli, member of the EUSA Executive Committee and Chair of the Student Commission welcomed the members, and together with Andrej Pisl, EUSA Communications and Projects Manager and Secretary of the STC presented an annual report for 2022.

A general update was shared on the projects where EUSA through its Institute is engaged - either as the coordinator, or a project partner. These include project co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, those supported by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). Special focus was given on the YIAP project – Young Integrity Ambassador Programme and the upcoming training in February in Lisbon.

Cooperation with existing partnership organisations was also discussed, as well as potential new opportunities. EUSA Student Commission also coordinates and contributes to the monthly What's Up Column, and supports the international volunteer programme during EUSA sports events. Registration for the next ones - European Universities Championships 2023 will open on December 15.

Members agreed to meet in 2023 online and also in-person.
