The move to distributed video systems - combined with the benefits of networking, position sensing, digital imaging, and web software intelligence - constitutes a far more effective means of remote event watching than has ever been reached before. Network tracking and distributed video provides a wide range of innovative functions and features which are only possible with ICT technology.

General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and Global Positioning Sensing GPS technologies with Google Earth Application will be used. Herewith we give you the Instructions for you and your friends/colleagues who will watch EUSC thought the Internet.

 

Installation and application instructions

{mosimage}The Regatta can be tracked in real-time in Google Earth. To do so, download and install the latest Google Earth package, then open the Regatta data in it.

1) Download Google Earth from
http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html - Be sure to choose the correct operating system, then click on "Download Google Earth" button.

2) Install Google Earth by double-clicking the downloaded file, and answering the installation questions. Simply pressing "Next" and "Finish" buttons as they appear is sufficient.

3) Point your web browser to http://tracking.irb.hr/regatta/regatta.php
- The default opening method should have been assigned to Google Earth.
