On the Invitation of the National University Sports Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Mr. Alberto Gualtieri, EUSA President and Mr. Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Secretary General visited Sarajevo from January 20-22, 2010.

EUSA representatives were welcomed by Mr. Branislav Crnogorac, NUSA President and Mr. Omer Stambolic, Sports Federation of BiH President. During their stay in Sarajevo, Mr. Gualtieri and Mr. Pecovnik met on a working meeting with the NUSA Board Members. Mr. Crnogorac presented the current situation, activities and plans of the federation that became a member of EUSA in 2007. He expressed a great readiness of the NUSA to become more active in EUSA Activities.

 

Mr. Gualtieri thanked the host for the invitation and explained that one of the EUSA priorities this year is to involve in EUSA Activities as much as possible those countries that have for different reasons not been able to participate in EUSA Events in the past. In the continuation of the meeting, the details on the further mutual cooperation and projects were discussed and agreed.
 

EUSA President and Secretary General also participated in the Sportsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina Award Ceremony, where they presented the awards to the best student athletes in 2009.
