On Thursday, July 22, a meeting took place involving representatives from both EUSA and the Lodz University of technology, discussing the ongoing preparations ahead of next year’s highly-anticipated 2022 European Universities Games in Lodz, Poland.

Present on behalf of EUSA was President Mr Adam Roczek, who met with the the Rector of Lodz University of Technology Mr Krzysztof Jozwik.

The gentlemen discussed various matters concerning the organisation of the 2022 Euroepan Universities Games, with Mr Jozwik expressing his full commitment to the event, and his will to further increase cooperation between the university, the national university sports association and EUSA.

A follow-up meeting between parties is set to take place at the beginning of September.

EUG2022 is set to take place in the summer of 2022, involving 5000 student athletes from 40 countries participating in 17 sports disciplines.
