On the invitation of Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF), Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA President and Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Secretary General attended the HUSF General Assembly, which was held in Budapest (HUN) on March 13, 2016.

The assembly started with welcome speech HUSF President, Mr Adam Kiss, who welcomed all the delegates and invited guests.



After, the participants were informed on the preparation of the Budapest Bid for the Olympics 2024. Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA president also welcomed the delegates and expressed the gratitude of EUSA for active involvement of HUS in EUSA activities.



Afterwards, the report on the activities was presented by dr. Mozes Szekely, HUSF Secretary General. The assembly also approved the annual accounts.



The assembly elected the new board for the next four years. Prof. Dr. Adam Kiss was reelected as the HUSF President, Dr. Zoltan Bacs, Tamas Skultety and Dr. Tamas Sterbenz as Vice Presidents, while Dr. Tamas Freyer, Dr. Antal Kovacs, Daniel Molnar, Zoltan Rakaczki, Balazs Tompos and Csaba Vladar were elected as EC members.



During the Assembly, HUSF also awarded the best individuals best individuals and institution for the previous year.



HUSF is an active EUSA member and will in 2017 organise the European Universities Basketball Championship in Miskolc.
