European University Sports Association (EUSA) is one of the official partners of the European Week of Sport also this year. The official launch of this year’s edition and the #beactive campaign will be on September 10, with activities in EU member and participating countries taking place throughout the month.

In the preparation of the event, EUSA office team attended the Ljubljana Business Run on September 8, taking part in a 10k relay run.



The 2016 Week will be officially opened by Commissioner Tibor Navracsics and other high-level representatives of the European institutions and the sport world, from Kosice, Slovakia, in the morning of Saturday 10 September. The event will bring together also people from all over Europe who will engage in the flashmove flashmob simultaneously in different cities. EUSA representatives will attend the event in Ljubljana, where EUSA Office is located.



Within the European Week of Sport, EUSA will also celebrate the International Day of University Sport (IDUS) on September 20 with a hike in Ljubljana and attending activities of our members and partners.



We also organise a Convention between September 22 and 25 in Bled, which will be attended by next year’s events organisers – European Universities Championships and EUSA Technical Delegates.
