European University Sports Association (EUSA), in cooperation with is Student Commission (EUSA STC) is since 2009 organising an annual Photo Competition, where participants and other people involved in the European Universities Championships or European Universities Games are encouraged to take photos, and submit them to us.

EUSA sports events such as European Universities Championships and European Universities Games are sporting events for students, balancing sport and university studies. EUSA and its Student Commission enable also non-athletes (Student Commission members, volunteers, young team managers, etc.) to also participate in EUSA activities. One of these possibilities is also the Photo Competition.

This year, the EUSA Photo Competition is open to everyone taking pictures during the European Universities Games. By participating, students share their perspective of the event as they see through their eyes and by capturing the right moment to reveal the true nature of University spirit.

Selection process will involve votes on the EUSA Facebook page fb.com/eusa.university.sport and the final winners will be decided by the EUSA Student Commission.

The winning author will have the opportunity to travel to the General Assembly of the European University Sports Association. Next year’s assembly will be hosted by the Portuguese University Sports Federation (FADU) and will take place in March 2013 in Portugal.

As a sign of recognition, the winner will also receive an official award for is/her achievement. All expenses to attend the award ceremony (travel and full board accommodation) will be covered by EUSA.
