EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik travelled to Switzerland last week for a series of working meetings, related to the operation and upcoming events of the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

He met first with the FISU Acting President Mr Leonz Eder, to discuss CUSF activities and prepare for the EUSA-FISU Strategic Dialogue, scheduled to take place this September in Budapest, accompanying the EUSA General Assembly.



Mr Pecovnik also met with Mr Lorenz Ursprung, EUSA Treasurer, for detailed overview of financial realisation for the past period, and plan the budget for the upcoming period. In the preparations of the upcoming General Assembly and the changes of the Statutes, promoting and enabling a more balanced and diverse structure of the Executive Committee, EUSA Legal Advisor Mr Marzel Wyden joined the meeting. At the occasion of the visit, former president and honorary member of the Swiss University Sports Mr Andreas Csonka also welcomed Mr Pecovnik in Zurich.

The General Assembly of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the EUSA-FISU Strategic Dialogue will be held on September 10 and 11 in Budapest, Hungary. For more information about the event, please see budapest2021.eusa.eu.
