On the invitation of the European Bridge League (EBL), Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA President and Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Secretary General attended the EBL General Assembly, which was held on June 29, 2014 in Opatija, Croatia.

At the beginning, Mr Yves Aubry, EBL President welcomed all the delegates and guests attending the assembly.

In his address, Mr Roczek thanked EBL for the invitation to the assembly and pointed out good cooperation between EUSA and EBL on the field of university sports, which resulted in signing of cooperation agreement this April. EUSA President also announced that the finals of the EUSA EBL Online Bridge Trophy will be organised this July during the European Universities Games in Rotterdam. At the end, Mr Roczek presented the EUSA plaque to Mr Aubry.

The delegates of the assembly among other also elected new Executive Committee. Mr Aubry was re-elected as President to the European Bridge League for another four year term.

Parallel to the Assembly, the 52nd European Team Championships were organised in Opatija between June 21 and July 1, also having university students as members of the national teams.
