EUSA Office welcomes back new staff member
The European University Sports Association (EUSA) and its Institute are proud to announce that Mr Liam Smith is returning to EUSA Office in Ljubljana, Slovenia as Events Manager.
Liam holds a Physical Education and School Sports degree from Sheffield Hallam University, which he earned in 2016. After completing an internship with our EUSA Office, he continued working in our Sports Department until 2018. Liam was a major contributor to organizing the European Universities Games in Coimbra in 2018.
Following this event, he gained valuable experience through a four-month internship at the European Olympic Committee's EU Office in Brussels, then came back to Ljubljana as Assistant Sports Manager in 2019. For the past 3 years he was working in British Triathlon Federation as Performance Programme Coordinator.
We are thrilled to have Liam rejoin EUSA Office in 2024. His contributions will be vital to the success of our growing program of sports events, such as the European Universities Championships and the European Universities Games.
