EUSA members meet in China
European delegation and federation members met for an informal meeting held at the occassion of the FISU General Assembly and the 26th Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China.
An impressive number of 27 EUSA member countries was present at the meeting, held on August 8 at the Universiade Village in Shenzhen. Their delegations, among others, will participate in the World University Summer Games, better known as the Summer Universiade.
EUSA President Mr Gualtieri and EUSA Secretary General Mr Pecovnik welcomed all representatives and thanked them for their attendance.
Several items were discussed, among them was also the topic of the upcoming FISU General Assembly and the elections as there are also several candidates from Europe running for the positions in FISU.
The FISU Assembly will be held o August 9 and 10, and the Universiade will officially start on August 12 with a special opening ceremony, and conclude on August 23 with a closing ceremony.
