On November 9th, EUSA Delegation, visited Venice in order to finalize the proposal for the potential organisation of the 1st EUSA Winter Championships.

EUSA Delegation, composed of Mr Matjaz Pecovnik Secretary General of EUSA, Mr Miha Zvan EUSA Sports Manager and Mr Mariano Carcatella Assistant Sport Manager, visited Venice, for a meeting with the board of CUS Venezia, led by the President Mr Massimo Zanotto.

The main aim of this meeting, was to finalise the proposal, presented at the previous meeting in Ljubljana in early October, for hosting the 1st EUSA Winter Championship in December 2023 in Civetta, Dolomites.
The engaged parties agreed on an action plan and scheduled a first Inspection Visit in Val di Zoldo in December, to evaluate all logistic aspects. At the meeting, it was also agreed that EUSA-FISU Seminar will be held at Val di Zoldo, from 23-26 of March 2023.

The next day, on November 10th, EUSA Representatives were invited to University Ca Foscari to attend the “University Open Sport Day”, together with representatives of the Municipality of Venice, where they also had the chance to present the activities of EUSA to the students.
