EUSA meets its French member FFSU in Paris

At the occasion of ENGSO annual events - Seminar and General Assembly which are being held in Paris, EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik accompanied by Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl met with the representatives of the French University Sport Federation (FFSU) on June 8, 2017.

EUSA representatives were met by FFSU President Mr Jean-Francois Sautereau, national director Mr Vincent Rognon, and international coordinator Mr Christophe Millard. The meeting focused on the preparations for the EUSA Executive Committee, which will be held in March 2018 in Paris. Other topics related to the French participation in events within the European University Sports Association and engagement of FFSU as one of the most active EUSA members was also discussed.

Working meeting

The meeting was held alongside with the finals of the French national university championship in badminton. Top university student athletes gathered in Paris, after qualifying at the regional level. The title of the French university champion was received by the University of Strasbourg.

Badminton championships

FFSU President Mr Sautereau and EUSA Secretary General Mr Pecovnik congratulated the winning teams, and presented medals at the closing ceremony.
