During the EPP group hearing at the European Parliament in Brussels on February 9, 2012, the President of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) Mr Alberto Gualtieri met with the Chairman of European Student Union (ESU), Mr Allan Pall.

On this occasion both presidents expressed their engagement to strengthen the cooperation between both associations. Mr Gualtieri invited Mr Pall to the EUSA Conference and General Assembly to be held in March in Maribor. Mr Gualtieri presented the EUSA anniversary book to Mr Pall and introduced the latest actions of EUSA Executive Committee in terms of student representation in the bodies of the association.

The European Students' Union (ESU) is the umbrella organization of national student unions across Europe. ESU aims to represent and promote the educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at the European level.
