EUSA Institute joins Eduroam
In the academic year 2022-23, EUSA Institute officially fully joins the Eduroam network, providing secure roaming internet service for local and international users in academics.
Eduroam (education roaming) is an international Wi-Fi internet access roaming service for users in education and research. The service originates from Europe, pioneered by the GÉANT research and education networking community in Europe, and is co-funded by the national research and education networks and the EU. Nowadays it is available also outside of Europe, in thousands of locations across over hundred countries worldwide.
Eduroam provides researchers, teachers, and students encrypted secure network access in their institution, as well as when visiting other institutions, organisations and certified locations in their country as well as abroad. Eduroam Wi-Fi roaming service is free-of-charge to the authorised users.
Please note that EUSA and its Institute do not provide usernames for students or educators; these are assigned only by the primary education institutions of the legible users (where they study or are employed). In case of any difficulties with access, the users should turn to the tech support at their home organisation.
