EUSA-IDO European Universities Hip Hop Championship 2015

Rimini in Italy hosted the IDO World Hip-Hop, Electric Boogie and Break Dance Championship in the period October 21-25, 2015. More than 3.500 dancers from 32 countries and three continents took part in it. This event also hosted the first joint IDO and EUSA event – the EUSA-IDO European Universities Hip-Hop Championship.

Students from 12 Universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and United Kingdom participated in this first edition of Hip-Hop Championship. Competition was split in three categories: duos, solo male and solo female.

Winners - gold medallists:
Duos: Anthony Kyron & Sam Trayvard, University of East London (GBR)
Solo male: Anthony Kyron, University of East London (GBR)
Solo female: Alexandra Mayhew, University of Brighton (GBR)

The medallist were awarded by Mr Patrik Perosa, EUSA Sports Manager, Mr Velibor Srdic, IDO Senior Vice-President and Mrs Fiona Johnson Kocjancic, IDO Sport Director.

 

Medal awardings

In cooperation of International Dance Organisation (IDO) and the European University Sports Association (EUSA), two more EUSA-IDO Championships will be held this year:
Tap Dance Championship in Riesa, GER: 03.12.-05.12.2015
Jazz & Modern Dance Championship in Mikolajki, POL: 08.12.-12.12.2015

Registration and participation is possible for student dancers that will take part in IDO championships and EUSA-IDO championships and are members of IDO NMO (national registration or direct members), as well as for those wanting to take part and are not members of IDO NMO.
