EUSA getting ready for the Games
The representatives of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) are joining the team of the Organisers and Volunteers in Rotterdam in final preparation steps for the European Universities Games – EUGames 2014.
 
The first EUSA representatives to arrive were the staff and assistants, composed of Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Sports Manager Mr Patrik Perosa, Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl, assisted by Mr Loic Etienne, Mr Valentin Duopouey, Ms Kamelia Atanassova, Mr Murat Aslan and Ms Sara Rozman. They are soon to be joined by the EUSA Technical delegates and their assistants, and the Chairs of the Supervision, Control and Arbitration Commission (SCAC). Together, in strong cooperation with the Organisers, they will make sure the event will be carried out on the highest level.

The European Universities Games in Rotterdam is the largest European multisport student event, featuring 10 sports: badminton, basketball, football, futsal, handball, rowing, rugby 7's, table tennis, tennis and volleyball. Apart from sports, the event will offer a rich variety of cultural and educational activities. The event will officially be opened on July 24 with a special Opening Ceremony at the Excelsior Stadium in Rotterdam, and will conclude with the Closing Ceremony following the Basketball Finals in the Topsport Center in Rotterdam on August 8.
